Placed neatly between the industrial town of Middlesbrough to the North and the tourist town of Scarborough to the South, Whitby is regarded as one of the great historical ports of the United Kingdom. With history stretching back to the times of Captain Cook, the Whaling Boats and Henry VIII, the town that never sleeps is a must-see location.
